Some reviews bash this card for its thermals, but I haven't had any thermal issues. With a proper fan curve, it doesn't go over 70C (85C on the memory) while at the same time demolishing any game I throw at it!

Looks really good but runs very hot. Be prepared!

Huge supporter of using previous-gen graphics cards at a fraction of the current gen's price. Really going to miss the size of these cards in the future

Clean, but the connector is a pain.

While it runs everything at 1080p 120fps just fine, the cooler design is not good enough and this thing regularly hits 80+ temps in games. It also has a fair bit of coil whine, but not enough to bother me with headphones on. Overall would really recommend an aftermarket cooler/design or at least an undervolt if you have the FE.

The whole reason this build was put together. Ex-mining gpu from a friend’s dad who sold it to me for $300 CAD after the mining craze died down. Came pretty dusty and not sure how much life the fans have left but it’s been working great. Was worried about having to repaste/repad but temps peak at 80 C in Steel Nomad and VRAM/Hotspot temps are both in the 90s C during gaming and benchmarks. Had the choice between this and a 3080 Ti Dell OEM model but picked this for the silver FE aesthetic and let another friend have the 3080 Ti. Coming from a 3060 Ti it was an upgrade in every sense so the loss of a bit of VRAM and GPU cores doesn’t bother me. Runs all my games smoothly at 1440p with 300+ FPS. Configured with a slight undervolt and power limit to keep the heat output down especially now that its summer.

While I did have driver crashes, it was due to a faulty open box card. I got it replaced and it has worked since.

Great card, got it for $500 used and its benchmarks were comparable to my Strix 3080. Haven't tried any games from the last couple years but it's doing 4K60fps on my TV very well and stably for the games I've tried so far (e.g., Hades).

Beautiful hardware. It's meant to be displayed. Managed to find one for $500 mint in-box with barely any usage in December 2022. If you want to stop Nvidia's software from eating up hundreds of megabytes of RAM with stuff you might not use, get NVCleanstall.
